Bobwhite Quail Habitat
The Arkansas quail population is being restored thanks in part to a five-year, $250,000 commitment from Southwestern Energy and a public-private partnership with the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission, the Natural Resources Conservation Service and the Arkansas Association of Conservation Districts. With a focal area of approximately 45,000 acres, the program aims to help restore natural habitats for Northern Bobwhite quail and other wildlife in Arkansas.
