Southwestern Energy Company is an independent energy company primarily focused on the exploration for and production of natural gas. We principally operate our natural gas and oil exploration and production business in four well-established productive regions - the Arkoma Basin, East Texas, the Permian Basin and the onshore Gulf Coast. Today, we derive the vast majority of our operating income and cash flow from our E&P business. In addition to our core areas of operations, we actively seek to develop new conventional exploration projects as well as unconventional plays with significant exploration and exploitation potential. We are also focused on creating and capturing additional value at and beyond the wellhead through our marketing and gathering businesses.
