Business Analyst

An entry level Business Analyst position is responsible for a wide range of IT activities. This position is a liaison between the business users and the technical developers. Some of the responsibilities include gathering business requirements, documenting business processes, preparing functional design documents, testing new functionality, preparing training material, training end users, writing ad hoc reports, and troubleshooting issues. Each Business Analyst is assigned a mentor who will oversee projects and serve as a technical resource. A Business Analyst Intern is exposed to a wide range of IT activities. This position is a liaison between the business users and the technical developers. Programmer

An entry-level Programmer is exposed to a wide range of IT activities, which includes a variety of computing environments. As a member of the IT Business Solutions Team, programmers have the opportunity to develop technical business solutions using Microsoft .Net Framework, Web Services, XML, J2EE Framework, HTML, Informatica, and more. Some of the responsibilities include developing new programs from prepared design specifications, modifying existing application programs and corresponding documentation, testing and debugging application programs and troubleshooting issues. Each assignment serves as a basis for increasing both technical and oil and gas industry knowledge. Initially, each Programmer is assigned a mentor who will oversee projects and serve as a technical resource. A Programmer Intern is exposed to a wide range of IT activities, which includes a variety of computing environments.
