Accounting
Entry level accounting positions will become a part of our Accounting Department with opportunities in such area disciplines as SEC Financial Reporting, Tax, Joint Interest Billing, A/P, Property, Revenue, Midstream, Budgeting, Operational Analysis and Audit Services. Southwestern Energy’s Accounting Department is in the process of reviewing the potential of initiating a rotational program to enhance the growth of new additions to our Group. This would offer a “ground floor” opportunity to experience a wide range of the discipline areas and allow for accelerated growth.This Intern accounting position will be assigned to our rotational program and given the opportunity to be exposed to the wide range of responsibilities performed by Southwestern Energy’s Accounting Department. This will include opportunities to participate in Oil & Gas Accounting from the “ground up” including, SEC Financial Reporting, Tax, Joint Interest Billing, A/P, Property, Revenue, Midstream, Budgeting, Operational Analysis and Audit functions.

Finance / Treasury Fulltime and Internships
This unique 15-month rotational program is designed to rapidly develop and integrate individuals in order to prepare them for an exciting career in finance or treasury at Southwestern Energy. This program combines comprehensive job assignments, projects, instruction, and mentoring designed to give individuals the specific skills and experience that they need in order to be a leader at Southwestern Energy. The program’s rotations include financial and peer analysis, hedging, banking and capital markets, investor relations, budget, cash and credit operations, tax, and enterprise risk management, as well as an introduction to exploration and production operations. Upon successful completion of the program, individuals will be placed into a position based on their interests, talents, and potential impact.
